How to install Hotspot in Jio Phone | Alternate method

In this tutorial, I am gonna show you how you can install a hotspot in your Jio Phone.

Yes, install a hotspot again. After Jio Phone’s new update LYF- model num-001-02-34-170919. OmniSd stop working on every LYF Jio Phones after this update.

Because the loader is stopped working after this update. I have a post in this website “How to install hotspot in Jio Phone 2020” this method work before the update after this update my users comment me “Sir, it shows Sahara fail”, then I start looking for the solutions after research of 2 months finally I found the solutions to How to install hotspot/omnisd in Jio Phone.

Install Hotspot in Jio Phone 2020 working method:

To install hotspot in Jio Phone, we have to do two major things-

• Downgrade the LYF Jio Phone.
• Install Omnisd.
• Install JGHotspot

Pre-Requisites:

• This method only works for LYF Jio Phones, do not try to flash other phones.
• At, first you have to downgrade your LYF Jio Phone.
• Then we will install Omnisd in your Jio Phone.
• Keep your device battery charged up to at least 50%.
• Take a complete backup of your device data, because after flashing you lost your all user’s data.
• So, follow the steps carefully.
• Remove your sim card from your phone, because your phone starts downloading the updates automatically. Once we are usefully installed the hotspot in Jio Phone after update the phone hotspot will work.

Downgrade LYF Jio Phone:

****Ponit to be noted. – This method work for you jio phone model nnumber—- whatever.

• At first, all files above download links are available, download these files Downgrade Files, build File, Omnisd File, JGHotspot, Qualcomm USB Drivers.
• After downloading the files, now extract the files in the Desktop folder.
• Now, install the Qualcomm USB Driver for connecting the Jio Phone to the Computer’s environment. Drivers must be installed properly because flashing won’t work if you are not installed the Drivers Properly.
• therefore Install the QPST Flash Tool for downgrade your LYF Jio Phone.
• therefore, extract the loaders file (password- techforus.in) and copy the loader and then paste it to your LYF Jio Phone’s downgrade firmware:  downgrade firmware/paste here. This is the most important step because flashing won’t be a success.

• After that copy the whole downgrade firmware folder and paste it:
• 32bit users Local Disk (C):> Program Files: > Qualcomm: > QPST: > Paste here:
• 64bit users Local Disk (C):> Program Files(86): > Qualcomm: > QPST: > Paste here

Flash The Phone:

Now we are at the final stage to downgrade the Jio Phone. Open Qfil Flash Tool:
32bit users
Local Disk (C):> Program Files: > Qualcomm: > QPST: > bin:> QFIL.
64bit users
Local Disk (C):> Program Files(86): > Qualcomm: > QPST: > bin:> QFIL .
Double click on QFIL to run the Program.

QFIL Setup:

Select build type: Flat Build ✓
Click on the Browse button and select the programmer
32bit users
Local Disk (C):> Program Files: > Qualcomm: > QPST: > open Firmware folder:> “prog_emmc_firehose_8909_ddr.mbn”

64 bit users

Local Disk (C):> Program Files (86): > Qualcomm: > QPST: > open Firmware folder:> “prog_emmc_firehose_8909_ddr.mbn”
Double click on it to load the program.
Now click on the Download button to begin flashing.

Install Omnisd:

Finally, your phone is now downgraded. Now it is time for installing the Omnisd.

Download:

First Download the Omnisd file and extract it.

Add the loader to the firmware:

Now, extract the loaders file (password- techforus.in) and copy the loader and then paste it to your LYF Jio Phone Omnisd folder: Omnisd Folder/paste here.

Move the Firmware into C drive:

After that copy the whole Omnisd folder and paste it:
32bit users Local Disk (C):> Program Files: > Qualcomm: > QPST: > Paste here.
64bit users Local Disk (C):> Program Files(86): > Qualcomm: > QPST: > Paste here.

Flash the Omnisd file:

Now we are at the final stage to downgrade the Jio Phone. Open Qfil Flash Tool:
32bit users
Local Disk (C):> Program Files: > Qualcomm: > QPST: > bin:> QFIL.
64bit users
Local Disk (C):> Program Files(86): > Qualcomm: > QPST: > bin:> QFIL .
Double click on QFIL to run the Program.

QFIL Setup:

Select build type: Flat Build ✓
Click on theBrowse button and select the programmer:

32 bit users:
Local Disk (C):> Program Files: > Qualcomm: > QPST: > open Firmware folder:>”prog_emmc_firehose_8909_ddr.mbn” double click on it.

64bit users
Local Disk (C):> Program Files(86): > Qualcomm: > QPST: > open Firmware folder:> prog_emmc_firehose_8909_ddr.mbn” double click on it.

Now load the content
After that click on the Download button to begin flashing.

Now your phone successfully installs the Omnisd app.

Install JGHotspot in Jio Phone:

Now, this is the final step to install hotspot in Jio Phone

• Download the JGhotspot File
• And put the JGHotspot.zip application to a specific folder: sdcard/downloads or internal/downloads.
• After that, open the Omnisd application on your phone.
• Refresh and then click ok on JGHotspot.

Great! You just installed a hotspot in your Jio Phone after the phone’s new update.
