LYF Jio Phones is not very easy to install hotspot, you need to know the proper way of flashing. Just do it what we instruct in this article. I guarantee to you that no matter you beginner or advanced in the flashing process. Just follow the instructions. You will do it.
Okay, let me talk about the LYF Jio Phones. Jio Phone was launched middle of 2017. It’s run on KaiOS HTML5 based Firefox OS. This phone only supports 4G networks, not for 2G or 3G sim. By the way, Jio Phone only supports for Jio sim card. No other sim card will support this phone. The featured phone powered by 1.2Ghz dual-core SPRD 9820A/QC8905 Processor. This phone comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via a micro SD card.

Don’t worry today I am gonna show you, how to install hotspot feature on Jio Phones.
- Follow the steps carefully
First, you should know that this is not official methods. It some kind of custom method.
Requirements
You need some basics to flash your LYF Jio Phones.
- A Computer (Laptop/Desktop)
- A USB data cable
- An internet connection to download some files.
- And an LYF Jio Phone(☺️)

Warning: Before you download flash file, you must check your Jio Phone model number then download, otherwise it’s brick your phone. (If you don’t know how to check model number… click here)

Install Hotspot in Jio Phone
1. First, download and install Driver. If you are not able to install drivers then click here.
2. After installing the driver, extract your downloaded OmniSD flash file into Desktop.
3. Now run Qfil.exe.
4. Now select on “Flat Build”

5. After selecting “Flat Build” programmer file will be selected automatically
If not select … then follow this step. Browise> select your OmniSD file which you extract on your Desktop
6. Then click on “file” then double click on “prog_emmc_firehose_8909_ddr.mbn”

7. now” Load XML” file
7. Now Switch off your phone and remove the battery.
8. Insert your battery and press hold * (star)and #(hash) key together and plug your USB cable to your phone (must be USB cable connected to the PC).
and switch on your phone if everything ok, your phone screen blinks for a second.

And now click on download bottom on the Qfil tool.
Done…..
After reboot your phone you find a new app, Which name OmniSD. It allows installing any third party software which is not on Jio Phone’s app store.

Now downloaded app ‘JG Hotspot ‘ and ‘JB store’ copy on your sd card following folders SDcard/apps or SDcard/downloads.
Then insert sd card on your Jio Phone, and then open OmniSD and install.
